Ain't that the truth? And in a lot of companies, docs will remain in low esteem as long as we lack a means of proving our work improves the bottom line.
Has anyone ever discussed this with someone who is, say, an expert in statistical analysis? Has any serious high-powered number cruncher ever tried to come up with a procedure to calculate the value added by documentation? My apologies if there are such people on this list and I didn't know.
